Sugo di Porcini - Porcini Mushroom Sauce (Pre-Order)
To Italians, porcini are easily the kings and queens of the mushroom world. This sugo is made from premium California tomatoes and a LOT of dried European porcini mushrooms. We add a little wine, garlic, and at least three “glug-glugs” of olive oil to make sure it’s heart healthy too. We use 4 whole pound of dried porcini mushrooms (which, trust me, is a METRIC CRAP-TON of dried porcini) for every batch of sauce so we’re estimating that this sauce has about 55 times the amount of mushrooms you’re used to seeing in a jarred pasta sauce, and the taste to match. Prove it? Buy it and we will.
This sauce is vegan, dairy free, and contains no preservatives. It has been jarred for shelf-stability.
