Roasted Fennel Sugo - 1 pint (16 oz)

Fennel and Tomato are an incredible pair, some say better than Ross & Rachel, Bennifer, or Brangelina. Come to think of it, all those couples broke up (and some are back together!), but Tomato & Fennel will never falter! This sugo has both our own wild foraged fennel pollen AND roasted fresh fennel bulb that we got from Star Route Farms, the first organic farm in America. It’s gonna be delicious on pasta, polenta, risotto, and if you eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon and a hunk of toasted bread, we won’t tell. (It’ll also be incredible if you toss in some browned Italian Sausage or ground lamb!)
