Puttanesca sauce is the epitome of Italian culinary development… word has it that someone once said “lemme just see what I have in the cupboard”, and chucked a bunch of stuff in a pot, and boom… Puttanesca was born! Olives, capers, anchovy (sorry vegans, this one isn’t for you…) and copious amounts of garlic round out our delicious salty funky sauce. Put it on pasta (duh), over swordfish (classic), or polenta (yum).
