Patagonia Provisions' Spanish White Anchovies (Boquerones) with Roasted Garlic
You know we are anchovy people at this point, we get it. But these are DIFFERENT anchovies ok? Boquerones are anchovies, yes, but they are not salt cured, they are marinated in an acid (typically a soft vinegar) which makes them closer to cevice than the anchovies you find on pizzas. They are meant for eating out of hand or on some toasted bread, over salads (they make a great caesar salad garnish, just make sure you use salt-cured anchovies for the dressing…), or on a charcuterie platter! And listen, with the addition of Roasted Garlic and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you know these are gonna be succulent and delish!
Patagaonia… yes, the coat company… has a line of food products that are made from sustainable, regenerative, and organic ingredients. True story, Patagonia’s Provisions wing is actually based in Sausalito, California, and once asked us if we would be able to produce pasta for them. We would never be able to make enough for them so we had to pass, but still… cool story right?
