One of the most unique sauces we make, this smoked tomato sauce has proven to be incredibly popular at our farmers markets and had become a fan favorite in record time. We smoke local heirloom tomatoes over hardwood charcoal with hickory and applewood chips added in, low and slow, for about 6 hours. We then cook it down with garlic and a double portion of olive oil before seasoning and blending smooth.
This sauce is vegan, dairy free, and contains no added preservatives.
Ingredients: Local Organic Heirloom Tomatoes, Organic Canned California Tomatoes (Organic Tomatoes, Organic Tomato Puree, Whole Leaf Basil, Sea Salt, Citric Acid), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic, Organic Agave Syrup, Glutamates of Fermented Tapioca, Nutritional Yeast, Red Wine Vinegar, Citric Acid, Kosher Salt
As we transition our sauce program to (hopefully soon) include jarred sauces, this product is available for pre-order and will be shipped when released to do so from the state!
