About MVPCo…

Mill Valley Pasta Co. was born out of dire circumstances. In the summer of 2020, out of work due to Covid-19 while restaurants and the food industry were shuttered and decimated by quarantine and shelter-in-place, I fired up my small vintage pasta extruder and, in the toughest times anyone could remember, I made pasta for my friends & neighbors as both a comfort to myself and them. There were smiles and many thanks given, an an idea was born. What if I could share this pasta with everyone? What if I could shift gears and pivot, both out of necessity for survival and out of deep desire to continue to share great food with great people?

From there MVPCo. snowballed into something, little by little, until what it has become today. We now are capable of producing hundreds of pounds of pasta in a single day, and we have learned a lot, cursed a lot, cried a lot, and felt the joys of victories on the days we needed them the most.

it takes a village for small business to be successful. I often catch myself saying “we” when referring to projects I’m working on, even when I’m the sole director and executor of a project. That’s because it takes more than just me to make anything I do successful. It takes great guests. It takes great employees and help. It takes people who believe and trust not just the product, but also me and my team. If you’re here reading this, you are unquestionably part of that group I refer to when I say “we”, and I thank you for that support.
